The Tomahawk is a neutral Yikun midrange, rated 5/6/0/0. It suits straight approaches and short tees where the release sets the line and a strong finishing fade would pull the shot away. The high glide is useful for carry, but asks the player to judge pace on shorter landings. Yikun lists it in the Tortoise range. Its official specifications show a full-size midrange diameter, giving it a different grip footprint from a compact putter. The PDGA approved Tomahawk (八卦钺) on 19 June 2019.

Try Discs adds up reviews from six disc golf stores, so you see what players think across stores, not just at one shop. Reviews are great for spotting proven, popular discs. Take the details with a grain of salt, though: runs, plastics and skill level all change how a disc flies, so your experience may vary.
