Tian Shi

The Tian Shi is an overstable midrange rated 4/3/0/3. Low glide with a heavy fade for the speed points to a short, hard-finishing disc rather than a straight midrange. It is not for a player looking for a glide-heavy midrange that holds a line.

Yikun positions it between two of its own molds, combining the gliding distance of the Crossbow with the wind-breaking ability of its Hammer putter, and points it at manoeuvring around bushes and similar obstacles during mid-range propulsion. The rated fade suggests a pronounced finish of the kind a forced hyzer around cover asks for. Yikun's own page disagrees with itself on the number: the product title gives fade 3, matching the rating carried here, while the body text says 2.

PDGA certified it on 30 January 2023 as Angel (天石, Tiān Shí). Yikun builds it in Inner Colour, a material it says integrates and releases colour at random, so colour patterns may vary from disc to disc; the same paragraph also calls the material Tiger line.
