Hou Yi

The Hou Yi is a long-range driver rated 10/6/-1/2, which Yikun calls an all-around option suited to players across skill levels. Its speed 10 asks less of a thrower than Yikun's speed 12 and 13 molds, though how accessible that feels varies by arm.

The rating suggests a gentle high-speed turn and a moderate finish rather than a shape that has to be forced. Yikun says the rim width is well suited to the mold and the flight characteristics precise. It is not for a player specifically after a faster, wider-rimmed driver; Yikun markets the speed 13 She Gong as its max-distance option.

PDGA certified it on 30 January 2023 as Lord Archer (后裔, Hoú Yì), a reference to the legendary archer of Chinese myth. Worth noting for collectors: the PDGA record prints 后裔 ("descendant") with the romanisation Hoú Yì, which is itself nonstandard pinyin, while the legendary archer is conventionally written 后羿 and both characters are normally read Hòu Yì.
