The Barbarian is Viking Discs' fading fairway driver rated 7/5/0/2. A no-turn rating with a moderate finish suits placement drives that move forward before ending on a hyzer line. Viking describes a straight early flight followed by a clear fade and recommends the mold across both wooded and open settings. Players seeking a gentle turnover with little recovery need a different flight shape. The PDGA approved Barbarian on 8 October 2017 (17-113).

4.031 reviews from 3 stores

Try Discs adds up reviews from six disc golf stores, so you see what players think across stores, not just at one shop. Reviews are great for spotting proven, popular discs. Take the details with a grain of salt, though: runs, plastics and skill level all change how a disc flies, so your experience may vary.
