Mantra

4.8(289)
Control Driver
The Mantra is Thought Space Athletics' gliding, understable fairway driver rated 9/6/-2/1. Significant turn and a light finish fit longer curved drives, especially where a strong ending fade would carry the disc away from the intended line. Thought Space recommends Mantra for hyzer flips and turnovers and emphasizes its carry. A hyzer flip uses the turning tendency to lift a tilted release toward flat, while an anhyzer starts the flight already on the turning angle. The PDGA approved Mantra on 17 October 2019 (19-69).

The Thought Space Athletics Mantra is one of the most-reviewed discs we track.

Try Discs adds up reviews from six disc golf stores, so you see what players think across stores, not just at one shop. Reviews are great for spotting proven, popular discs. Take the details with a grain of salt, though: runs, plastics and skill level all change how a disc flies, so your experience may vary.
