Sugar Glider

The Sugar Glider is a distance driver rated 11/6/-1/1. A single point of turn against a single point of fade suggests a gentle, gliding power flight that drifts a touch right for a right-hand backhand and settles softly. It is not the disc for a hard left finish.

Supersonic Discs aims it at low arm speeds: its copy says the disc is at home in tailwind or calm weather, riding the wind like the animal it is named for, with a big-angle hyzer as its headwind answer, and calls it happy on rollers, forehands thrown on hyzer, and tunnel shots through narrow fairways. There is a conflict in the sources, disclosed rather than resolved: the brand's launch announcement printed the same figures carried here, while its current catalogue prints 11/6/-3/0 under the flight-number system the brand rolled out in August 2025. PDGA approval came on 30 June 2024, and the Danish brand retired the mold's heaviest weight, the one version that sank, in March 2026 to keep its every-disc-floats identity intact.
