Trace

4.8(336)
Distance Driver

The Trace is a straight-to-stable Streamline distance driver rated 11/5/-1/2. Streamline built it with a manageable 21 mm rim and an even, moderate dome for straight power drives at speed 11, so it suits players stepping up from fairway drivers and strong arms who want a controllable straight driver. Players who want lots of turn, or a hard fade into wind, should look elsewhere.

Players on Disc Golf Course Review compare it with other straight speed-11 drivers, and one described Plasma Traces as more domed and less stable than Neutron and Proton ones. Several MVP team players list it in their bags.

The PDGA approved the Trace on 8 March 2017 (17-19), and Streamline announced it that year as its follow-up to the Pilot, in Neutron and Proton. Try Discs lists it in Neutron, Proton, Plasma and Cosmic Neutron as of October 2026. On our comparison table its nearest matches are the Discmania DD1 and the Millennium Astra.

4.8336 reviews from 6 stores

The Streamline Trace is one of the most-reviewed discs we track.

Try Discs adds up reviews from six disc golf stores, so you see what players think across stores, not just at one shop. Reviews are great for spotting proven, popular discs. Take the details with a grain of salt, though: runs, plastics and skill level all change how a disc flies, so your experience may vary.
