Stabilizer

4.7(112)
Putt & Approach

The Stabilizer is a stable-to-overstable Streamline putter rated 3/3.5/0/3. Streamline made it as the overstable partner to its Pilot putter: off the tee it flies straight to overstable and handles wind and forehand throws, and on approaches its stable flight suits point-and-shoot accuracy. Players who want a straight, glidey putter for long putts may prefer something less stable.

In a 2019 MVP interview, Matt Dollar compared it to a Rhyno, with a straight flight and a small hook at the end. Players on Disc Golf Course Review describe an overstable putter with more glide than they expected and good forehand manners.

The PDGA approved the Stabilizer on 7 May 2019 (19-43), and it debuted in Neutron and Cosmic Neutron. On our comparison table its nearest matches are the Dynamic Discs Slammer and the Nordisc Niohoggr.

18.8 cm
Rim Depth/Diameter RatioRim depth as a share of the disc's width. Higher means a deeper rim for its size.

Try Discs adds up reviews from six disc golf stores, so you see what players think across stores, not just at one shop. Reviews are great for spotting proven, popular discs. Take the details with a grain of salt, though: runs, plastics and skill level all change how a disc flies, so your experience may vary.
