The Ascend is an understable Streamline driver rated 6/5/-3/0.5, listed here as a control driver and sold by Streamline as a fairway driver. With a -3 turn, a glide of 5 and almost no fade, it gives newer players a straight line and stronger arms room to bend it into long turnovers or flip it up from a hyzer. It is not the disc for headwinds or for shots that need a dependable fade at the end. Streamline pitches it two ways: easy straight lines for players still learning, and controllable turn from hyzer angles for experienced throwers who want to shape big turnovers. Because the fade is so slight, it tends to finish on the side it turned toward rather than hooking back. The PDGA approved the Ascend on 21 March 2022 (22-41), and Streamline released it in Neutron in June 2022. It is the only model in Streamline's 16 mm fairway class as of October 2026.
