G1R1

G1R1 is Sector's 3D-printed, overstable putt-and-approach disc with a variable rim: two driver-like grip sectors alternate with two less-aerodynamic non-grip sectors. That design gives it a wide 2.3 cm maximum rim, but the patent documentation and current seller identify an overstable speed-3 to speed-4 approach flight rather than a distance-driver flight.

The PDGA approved G1R1 on July 11, 2022 under certification 22-120. Sector developed the geometry and NSH Custom Discs currently prints and sells it, emphasizing torque resistance and controlled backhand or forehand approaches. NSH describes tough, grippy, high-performance material but publishes no standing material-family name or numeric plastic properties.
