The Ballistic is a distance driver listed here at 13/4/-2/3. A turn rating of -2 at speed 13 with a fade rating of 3 suggests a fast flight that drifts right at high speed for a right-hand backhand before a firm left finish. Its ratings suggest it is less suited to slower arms or players seeking a gliding, straight flight.

Rip Disc Golf, which described itself as an Oregon-based company, asked whether another molding company would buy its PDGA-approved molds for the Relic, the Graboide and the Ballistic, discs it said it used to make. The PDGA approved the Ballistic on 19 September 2012 (12-38).
