The PA-3 is intended to be the straightest of Prodigy’s lineup of putters. They have a high shoulder, small bead, and a medium depth, all of which combine to give the PA-3 a consistent feel, release, and flight. It does not have as much glide as many putters, which means it is more consistent in the wind as well. The PA-3 is often a very straight flyer when thrown, and slightly overstable when used to putt.

Since its PDGA approval in 2014, the PA-3 has remained a staple at all levels of disc golf. It was the fourth putter released by Prodigy and designed to be a slightly more stable version of the PA-4. The result was a slightly overstable putter used by many pros since its release, including Gannon Buhr, Kevin Jones, Paul Ulibarri, and Isaac Robinson. Robinson and Buhr PA-3’s can be moderately collectible.

Note: Prodigy updated the flight numbers for the PA-3 in 2023. Previous flight numbers were 3 | 4 | 0 | 1.
