Good Boy (P Model S)
more_horiz
The Good Boy, first sold as the P Model S, is a very glidy Prodigy putter rated 3/5/0/2, with a straight flight and a soft fade. It suits players who want a putter that stays in the air on longer putts and approaches. Players who want an overstable approach disc for wind should look elsewhere.
Prodigy describes a slim profile with a small bead, a clean release for drives, approaches and putts, and a soft finish toward the basket. Five players on Disc Golf Course Review use it as a putter, and four found the base plastic slick at first.
It launched as the P Model S with Prodigy's ACE Line on 12 December 2019, when Prodigy noted that Chris Dickerson had used it during the second of two straight Disc Golf Pro Tour Championship wins. In 2026 Prodigy renamed it the Good Boy, the signature mold of core team captain Luke Humphries; discs stamped P Model S stay legal for tournament play, and the PDGA lists the mold as the Good Boy (21-117). Try Discs lists it in BaseGrip, BaseGrip Glow, DuraFlex, DuraFlex Glow and ProFlex as of October 2026. On our comparison table its nearest matches are the Innova Aviar Driver and the Kastaplast Tuff.

Try Discs adds up reviews from six disc golf stores, so you see what players think across stores, not just at one shop. Reviews are great for spotting proven, popular discs. Take the details with a grain of salt, though: runs, plastics and skill level all change how a disc flies, so your experience may vary.
