The Wingman is a midrange rated 5/5/0/2. Zero turn and a moderate 2 fade suggest a straight, neutral midrange flight that closes with a gentle left lean for a right-hand backhand.

Northstar's distributor listing plays on the name, saying everybody needs a good wingman and pitching it as a midrange to trust, and its flight figures match the ones carried here. The listing names three planned plastics for the mold, of which TryDiscs currently records one.

That run is C-Line (Northstar), the plastic the listings label Competition-line. PDGA approval came on 27 June 2022, in the same five-mold batch as the brand's Spy, Pacific and Paladin.
