Impetus

The Impetus is rated 9/6/-2/2. Two points of turn against two of fade suggest an S-shaped fairway flight, right drift at speed and a moderate left finish for a right-hand backhand; TryDiscs files it as a control driver. It is not a disc for one straight, quiet line.

The PDGA approved it for Momentum Discs on 20 March 2023, fifteen days before the brand's Gain. The Swedish company, whose About page says five partners took over the former Momentum Discgolf brand, sells the Impetus to its registered retailers as a minimalist base-stamp disc in Prominent medium plastic, which its listing says has some flex but is really durable, with very good grip.
