Current

The Current is rated 7/5/-1/1. A single point of turn against a single point of fade suggests a balanced fairway flight, able to hold a long straight line or lean into a turnover before a gentle finish; TryDiscs files it as a control driver. It is not the mold for a hard, early fade.

Meridian Discs pitches it as a fairway driver that flows down the fairway, suited to straight lines, shaped turnovers and placement drives for developing and experienced players alike, and its listing prints the same figures carried here. The store also sells a flatter, less stable companion mold it calls the Rip Current, a separate disc with no row here. PDGA approval came on 18 April 2024, the same day as the brand's Ravine.
