The Warbird is a glidy, stable Lone Star Disc distance driver rated 12/6/-1/3. High glide, a little turn and a firm fade suit long drives that hold a line and then finish left for a right-hand backhand. Players who want an understable driver for turnovers should look elsewhere.

Lone Star Disc describes an overstable bomber with plenty of glide, and named it after the North American Aviation T-6 Texan, an aircraft that served in several air forces for more than 40 years; its artist stamps show the plane. Early reports on Disc Golf Course Review were mixed: one player found a 2022 Warbird much more overstable and less glidy than its numbers, while another was very happy with it.

The PDGA approved the Warbird on 21 February 2022 (22-27). Try Discs lists it in Alpha, Bravo, Founders, Lima and Lone Star Glow plastic as of October 2026. On our comparison table its nearest matches are the Clash Discs Sage and the Discmania Cloudbreaker.
