Viking

The Viking is a versatile, neutral distance driver rated 9/4/-1/2, a long, straight flyer with just a hint of turn and a predictable fade to the left at the end (for a right-handed backhand). Its easy grip and neutral flight make it comfortable for both sidearm (forehand) and backhand throws.

That versatility is the appeal: it holds long, straight line drives and shapes graceful left or right turning shots on command, giving controlled distance without demanding a huge arm. The predictable finish keeps it dependable throw after throw. It is a beadless driver. Faster modern drivers have taken over much of the max-distance role, but the Viking remains a smooth, controllable straight driver.

Approved in 2003, the Viking is one of Innova's long-standing versatile control drivers.

Champion holds the stable finish; DX beats toward straighter and is a fine value option.
