Toro

The Toro is an overstable approach and midrange disc rated 4/2/1/3, a flat-top mold with genuine high-speed resistance (the plus-1 turn means it fights flipping over even under power) and a strong, dependable fade to the left (for a right-handed backhand). It is a forehand and utility specialist built to take torque and still finish hard.

That flat top and overstability make it a confident choice for sidearm approaches, spike hyzers, and headwind shots where a straighter disc would flip. It holds a brief anhyzer and flexes back reliably. Because it is so overstable and low-glide, it is not a distance or straight-line disc; it is a control tool. It is a beadless, flat-profile approach disc that is easy to grip for forehands.

Innova credits the Toro to Calvin Heimburg, who wanted a flat-top overstable midrange he could trust against his level of forehand torque; per designer Dave Dunipace, Calvin refined and named the disc. It was approved in 2021.

Champion and the premium Star runs hold the overstability longest, which is what forehand-dominant players want from this mold.
