Stud

The Stud is a stable putt-and-approach disc rated 3/3/0/2, essentially a more stable sibling of the Colt: it flies straight and finishes with a dependable fade to the left (for a right-handed backhand). Innova calls it the studly brother of the Colt, with added stability.

That extra stability is the appeal: it handles wind better than the Colt and holds its flight characteristics for longer before beating in, which makes it a dependable disc for driving, approaching or putting in windy or calm conditions alike. It is a beaded approach disc with a secure grip. Its stable, fading flight favors dependable lines over big turnovers, so it suits players who want a putter that finishes predictably.

Approved in 2016, the Stud is the more overstable companion to Innova's Colt in the approach-putter range.
