Savant

The Savant is a stable to slightly overstable fairway driver rated 9/5/-1/2, flying with a hint of high-speed turn and a dependable fade to the left at the end (for a right-handed backhand). It is a controllable, accurate fairway driver that bridges control and distance.

Innova describes it as similar to the Thunderbird but with extra glide and less fade, and positions it for Eagle throwers who want more speed, power and distance, or for Wraith throwers looking for a similar shape at lower power. That makes it a versatile fairway-to-control driver, accurate under control with enough glide to reach. It is a beadless driver. Players wanting a pure straight fairway disc or a max-distance driver have more specialized options, but the Savant covers a lot of ground.

Approved in 2014, the Savant slots into Innova's deep fairway and control-driver lineup as a glidey, stable-to-overstable option.
