Rollo

The Rollo is a specialty disc built for one job: rolling. Very understable and glidey at 5/6/-4/1 (that deep turn is what lets it sit on edge and track a long roller), it is the disc Innova designed specifically to make rollers accessible, and most players find it easier to roll than almost anything else in the bag. It is not a stable, straight-flying midrange, so anyone wanting a point-and-shoot approach disc should look elsewhere.

Thrown as a normal air shot it turns hard and floats, which also makes it a useful utility mold for low, bending lines around obstacles and for backhands that need to curl around a corner. It is a beaded midrange with a slightly oversized diameter that helps it stand up on a roll. Because it is so understable, it favors touch over power: too much muscle simply flips it over.

Approved by the PDGA in April 2023, the Rollo is a recent, purpose-built addition to Innova's lineup rather than a general-use mold.
