The Pulsar is an Innova throw-and-catch and competition disc, approved by the PDGA in 2008. Beyond competition play, Innova positions it for freestyle and beach catch rather than for disc golf. As a catch and recreational disc, its size and flight are tuned for games of catch and freestyle rather than golf, and Innova does not list golf flight numbers for it. It is a beadless disc, part of Innova's throw-and-catch lineup.

Try Discs adds up reviews from six disc golf stores, so you see what players think across stores, not just at one shop. Reviews are great for spotting proven, popular discs. Take the details with a grain of salt, though: runs, plastics and skill level all change how a disc flies, so your experience may vary.
