Pig

The Pig is a very overstable putt-and-approach disc, a low-glide, hard-fading mold rated 4/1/0/3 built to hold whatever angle you give it and finish left (for a right-handed backhand) regardless of the wind. It is a specialist, a utility approach and short-game tool rather than a straight-flying putter for the basket.

That combination of low glide and strong fade is exactly what makes it dependable for hyzer approaches, forehand (sidearm) shots, and spike hyzers that land and stick. It fights wind about as well as anything in the bag. Innova builds it with a grippy rim (branded the Thumtrac) aimed at secure forehand and putting grips. Because glide is so low, it is not a distance disc and it takes real effort to make it fly far, which is the whole point.

Approved in 2008, the Pig has a devoted following as a bad-weather and forehand-approach utility disc.
