Max

The Max is a fast, very overstable power driver rated 11/3/0/5, a low-glide, hard-fading mold that holds its line against power and wind before a strong, dependable finish to the left (for a right-handed backhand). Innova describes it as much like a faster Firebird or Monster, and it fills that overstable utility-driver role at higher speed.

That heavy fade and low glide make it a forehand (sidearm) driver's disc and a dependable tool for anhyzer flex shots and spike hyzers thrown backhand. It stays predictable into a headwind and takes torque without flipping. Because it fades so hard, it is not a distance or straight-line disc for most players; it is a control and wind driver for experienced, powerful arms. It is a shallow, beadless speed-11 rim.

Approved in 2006, the Max is one of Innova's long-standing overstable power drivers.

Champion and Star hold the strong fade longest, which is what forehand and windy-day throwers want.
