Hydra

The Hydra is Innova's floating putt-and-approach disc, rated 3/3/0/2: a stable putter for short drives and approaches that flies straight before settling into a dependable fade (for a right-handed backhand). Its defining trait is that it floats in water.

Molded in grippy plastic with a friendly, easy-to-release feel, it works inside the circle as comfortably as it does on short approaches. Hydras are produced at approximately 175 grams, and the mold is beadless.

Approved in 2004, the Hydra is one of the few floating molds Innova has kept in the lineup, listed most recently in R-Pro plastic.

For water-heavy courses it answers an obvious need: a putter you can throw over a pond and still get back.
