Gorgon Gstar
more_horiz
The GStar Gorgon is the more understable, high-turn version of Innova's Gorgon fairway-distance driver, rated 10/6/-3/1: it merges fairway-driver feel and precision with distance-driver reach, and in GStar plastic it turns more readily to the right (for a right-handed backhand) with big glide before a gentle fade. Innova points to the GStar Gorgon specifically for even more high-speed turn.
That extra turn and glide make the GStar version an easier-reaching, more workable driver than the base Gorgon, ideal for turnover lines and shaped distance for a range of arm speeds. The GStar plastic is also flexible and grippy, holding up well in cold weather. It is a shallow, beadless speed-10 rim. Thrown with too much power it will flip, so it favors a smooth release.
Approved in 2024, the Gorgon is one of Innova's newer fairway-to-distance drivers, with the GStar run flying the most understable.
The GStar plastic defines this version, giving it the flexible feel and added turn that set it apart from firmer Gorgon runs.
