FL

The FL, or Firebird L, is a controllable overstable fairway driver rated 9/3/0/2, essentially a Firebird with more glide and less fade at the end (for a right-handed backhand). Innova describes it as the Pro Firebird-L flight and grip in durable Star plastic.

That combination gives it the dependable overstability of a Firebird but with a bit more glide and a softer finish, which makes it an excellent windy-day and forehand (sidearm) driver and, in Innova's words, a great first step into the world of overstable drivers. It is a beadless fairway driver. It has since left the active lineup as a distinct listing.

The FL is Innova's more glidey, Star-plastic take on the overstable Firebird family.

Older runs turn up secondhand, where the glidey, overstable Firebird-family flight remains its appeal.
