Eagle

The Eagle is a straight flying fairway driver with high-speed turn and dependable fade. It features a rim with a small lip on the outer edge similar to the PD or Firebird, and feels fairly neutral in the hands. For power throwers, the Eagle will be reliably straight flying with some turn allowing for farther distances and greater versatility. Those with slower arms will find the Eagle to be dependably overstable.

The modern Eagle was approved in 1999 and was one of the first discs considered to be a high-speed driver. The disc got its name from the first of Innova’s disc golf discs, which would briefly be called the Eagle before being renamed the Aero. At the time of its release, the Eagle was the farthest flying disc available. The Eagle’s reliable flight has led to it becoming one of the most popular fairways ever made. Pros such as Calvin Heimburg, Gregg Barsby, and Ricky Wysocki have thrown Eagles regularly. Collectible versions include CE Eagles, Barsby Tour Series, and most premium PFN runs.
