Daedalus

The Daedalus is a fast, understable distance driver rated 13/6/-3/2, built for maximum downwind distance: it turns willingly to the right (for a right-handed backhand) and rides big glide before a gentle fade, giving less powerful arms real reach and stronger arms a long, sweeping shot-shaper.

Innova frames it, with a nod to its mythological namesake, as a disc that likes to be thrown low so it does not soar too close to the sun: too much height or power and its understability takes over and it flips. Thrown flat and low it carries a long way, and it doubles as one of the easier long rollers in the lineup. It is a shallow, beadless speed-13 rim. Into a headwind or with too much muscle it will flip and roll, so it favors control.

Approved in 2014, the Daedalus is Innova's understable answer in the high-speed distance class, a downwind and roller specialist.

GStar was a popular debut run and flies flexible and workable; Star gives the fullest turn while Champion holds the more stable end.
