Colossus

The Colossus is a fast, max-distance driver rated 14/5/-1/3, a speed-14 mold with a predictable high-speed turn and a reliable, strong fade to the left at the end (for a right-handed backhand). Although it has a wide rim, Innova designed it to be relatively easy to hold and throw on both backhand and forehand.

That approachable wide rim is the pitch: if you have wanted to throw a really fast driver but could not quite handle the widest rims, the Colossus is built to be more manageable while still delivering big distance. One note on plastic: the GStar Colossus flies a touch less stable than the base rating (closer to 14/5/-2/3). It rewards arm speed and holds a dependable finish. It is a beadless, wide speed-14 rim.

Approved in 2015, the Colossus is one of Innova's approachable max-distance drivers.

Champion and Star hold the stable finish; GStar flies more understable and stays flexible in cold weather.
