As of July 29, 2026, the Cricket is Hummingbird Flight Tech's PDGA-approved midrange-class mold, but no public flight numbers or product catalog were discoverable. Its 21.1 cm diameter and 1.3 cm rim support the current midrange classification, while the 2.0 cm height and 1.7 cm rim depth give it an unusually deep profile. Those measurements do not establish glide, turn, fade, or stability.

The PDGA approved Cricket on October 4, 2022 under certification 22-170 and currently lists Hummingbird Flight Tech as an active United States manufacturer. No retail listing or named material family was found during this audit, so commercial release status and plastic options remain unconfirmed.
