The Chango is a midrange rated 5/5/-2/1. Two points of turn with a single point of fade suggest an understable, workable midrange, right drift at speed and a gentle ending for a right-hand backhand. It is not the midrange for headwind work.

Gorilla Disc Golf introduced it as its second release, and the listing calls it an understable point-and-shoot midrange for flip-to-flat tunnel shots and long turnovers, adding a mold-specific quirk in the brand's own words: its usually most-stable Savage plastic seems to fly more understable on this mold. The PDGA approved it on 29 January 2024, the second certification for the Texas brand's primate-named lineup.
