The Samson is Goliath Discs' strongly overstable midrange rated 6/3/0/4. Its low glide and heavy fade suit short power hyzers and approaches where a pronounced finishing curve is useful. Goliath identifies a shallow, beadless shape and recommends the mold for forehand and backhand grips. Those physical details make it a candidate for a player who prefers less depth under the flight plate. Its fading flight is a different assignment from a neutral approach that needs to keep traveling straight near the landing. The PDGA approved Samson on 12 August 2024 (24-169).

3 reviews from 1 store

The Goliath Discs Samson has only 3 reviews so far, so one opinion can swing the picture. That's why there's no star average yet.

Try Discs adds up reviews from six disc golf stores, so you see what players think across stores, not just at one shop. Reviews are great for spotting proven, popular discs. Take the details with a grain of salt, though: runs, plastics and skill level all change how a disc flies, so your experience may vary.
