The Voodoo is Gateway's neutral putter, rated 2/3/0/0. It suits straight putting and short approaches where a hard finish would carry the disc away from the intended landing. Release angle matters because the rating leaves little fade to pull a drifting flight back toward the other side. Gateway compares its flight to a worn-in Wizard, which suits a player who likes that putter shape but wants less finishing movement. The PDGA approved the Voodoo in March 2009 and a revised Voodoo on 30 December 2016.

Try Discs adds up reviews from six disc golf stores, so you see what players think across stores, not just at one shop. Reviews are great for spotting proven, popular discs. Take the details with a grain of salt, though: runs, plastics and skill level all change how a disc flies, so your experience may vary.
