The Rage is a distance driver listed here at 10/5/-0.5/3.5. A slight turn at speed 10 with a fade rating of 3.5 suggests a stable-to-overstable flight that finishes hard left for a right-hand backhand. Its ratings suggest it is less suited to slower arms or players seeking turnover lines.

Gateway Disc Sports described the Rage in 2007 as its Spirit with a new top that carries less mass at the rim and comes down tighter to the parting line. It said the Rage needs less rotation than the Spirit to fly stable and is easier to turn over out of the hand, though still beefy out of the box. The PDGA approved the Rage on 8 March 2007 (07-15) and the Rage (retooled) on 29 August 2013 (13-52); the specifications listed here match the retooled version.
