The Chief is a Gateway putt-and-approach disc rated 3/3/0/1, which Gateway describes as low profile. It combines a largely straight initial flight with a small fade, making it useful for approach placement and short tees. The shallower shape is particularly relevant to a player who finds deeper putters awkward to release. Gateway identifies a rounded nose and a bead beneath the rim, and recommends the Chief for players uncomfortable with greater rim depth.
