The Big Dog is an oversized Gateway disc, PDGA-approved in May 2015 under certification 15-41. Its dimensions set it well apart from a standard golf mold: a 22.6 cm diameter, a very narrow 0.7 cm rim, a tall 2.7 cm profile, and a deep 2.1 cm rim depth. Gateway has published no flight numbers for it, and those proportions point to a catch and recreation disc rather than a conventional putt-and-approach mold. Gateway currently offers it in a hemp blend.

3 reviews from 2 stores

The Gateway Big Dog has only 3 reviews so far, so one opinion can swing the picture. That's why there's no star average yet.

Try Discs adds up reviews from six disc golf stores, so you see what players think across stores, not just at one shop. Reviews are great for spotting proven, popular discs. Take the details with a grain of salt, though: runs, plastics and skill level all change how a disc flies, so your experience may vary.
