Nila

SMALL BRAND
Putt & Approach

The Nila is a putt and approach disc rated 3/2/0/2. Low glide, zero turn and a 2 fade suggest a short, overstable flight that resists turning over and finishes left for a right-hand backhand. Its ratings suggest it is less suited to players seeking floating approaches or turnover approaches.

Exel calls it an overstable putt and approach disc with strong high-speed torque resistance, markets it for windy drives, and pitches it at big arms and players who want the disc to fade. Exel's product page explains that nila is the Finnish word for phloem, the plant tissue that carries sugars and other nutrients through a plant. The PDGA approved the Nila on 12 December 2022 (22-222). The brand's store listed it as sold out in every colour in September 2026.

TryDiscs lists it in Muovi.

Reviews

3 reviews from 1 store

The Exel Discs Nila has only 3 reviews so far, so one opinion can swing the picture. That's why there's no star average yet.

Try Discs adds up reviews from six disc golf stores, so you see what players think across stores, not just at one shop. Reviews are great for spotting proven, popular discs. Take the details with a grain of salt, though: runs, plastics and skill level all change how a disc flies, so your experience may vary.
