The Essential Discs Balance is a slightly overstable midrange (5/5/0/1.5) that pairs a lot of glide with just a hint of fade at the end. It flies straight on controlled throws and holds its line without much turn, sitting between the Purpose and the Harmony in Essential's midrange lineup as the pick for players who want a touch of dependable overstability. It works well for straight fairway shots, wooded lines, and approaches where you want the disc to settle rather than skip. Essential molds it in a grippy, durable Premium blend that keeps its flight for a long time. Essential Discs later reissued this mold under the name Integrity, so the two are the same disc.
