Truth

4.7(179)
Mid Range
The Truth is Dynamic Discs' neutral-leaning midrange rated 5/5/-1/1. Small turn and light fade suit straight approaches, release-angle shaping and controlled midrange drives where a large finishing curve is unwelcome. Dynamic Discs presents it as a versatile mold for hyzer, anhyzer and straight throws, including both low routes and lofted approaches. The mild finish makes it a different assignment from an overstable approach bought principally for a strong fading recovery. Dynamic Discs' EMAC Truth page explains that the later version was developed because the earlier Truth had become less stable than the company intended. The complete mold name is therefore a useful buying check: the original Truth and EMAC Truth describe distinct flight roles, beyond a choice of stamp. The PDGA approved the original Truth on 18 June 2013. EMAC Truth and Supreme EMAC Truth have separate certification entries, so the complete mold name is useful when comparing listings.

18.7 cm
Rim Depth/Diameter RatioRim depth as a share of the disc's width. Higher means a deeper rim for its size.
5.5%
Rim ConfigurationA PDGA score for the shape of the edge. Low is sharp, like a driver. High is rounded, like a putter.
41.5

Try Discs adds up reviews from six disc golf stores, so you see what players think across stores, not just at one shop. Reviews are great for spotting proven, popular discs. Take the details with a grain of salt, though: runs, plastics and skill level all change how a disc flies, so your experience may vary.
