The Contender is a glidey, controllable Dynamic Discs fairway driver rated 9/6/-1/1: real speed with big glide, a touch of workable turn, and a gentle finish, built for long, shapeable fairway lines. It suits smooth power throwers who want distance without a demanding, overstable flight; it is not a wind-fighter. The glide of 6 is the calling card: it carries well and holds the angle you release it on, blending shot-shaping with a dependable ending. Slower arms can hyzer-flip it for easy distance. Dynamic Discs unveiled the Contender at Disc South, where it drew attention as a control driver balancing glide, workability and a reliable finish.

4.818 reviews from 5 stores

Try Discs adds up reviews from six disc golf stores, so you see what players think across stores, not just at one shop. Reviews are great for spotting proven, popular discs. Take the details with a grain of salt, though: runs, plastics and skill level all change how a disc flies, so your experience may vary.
