Abomination

Distance Driver
The Abomination is a Doomsday Discs driver rated 9/5/-3/1, and one with an unusual design: its rim width changes around the disc, from roughly a speed-7 rim on one side to a speed-12 rim on the other, so the player chooses where to grip it. We list it as a distance driver; Doomsday files it with its fairway drivers. It suits players curious to experiment with grip and shot shape; players who want a conventional, consistent driver may find it odd. Doomsday says the Survival version flies fairly neutral, though the oval rim can exaggerate strong hyzer and anhyzer releases, and that a Glow Isolation version flips into big anhyzer lines, a version our plastics data does not yet record. Doomsday nicknames it the A-Bomb. The PDGA approved the Abomination on 16 December 2024 (24-227), after a small prototype run in Ration plastic. Every Abomination run is sold out on Doomsday's store as of October 2026. Try Discs lists it in Survival, Isolation and Ration. On our comparison table its nearest matches are the Streamline Shift and the MVP Impulse.

16.9 cm
Rim Depth/Diameter RatioRim depth as a share of the disc's width. Higher means a deeper rim for its size.

Reviews

1 review from 1 store

The Doomsday Discs Abomination has only 1 review so far, so one opinion can swing the picture. That's why there's no star average yet.

Try Discs adds up reviews from six disc golf stores, so you see what players think across stores, not just at one shop. Reviews are great for spotting proven, popular discs. Take the details with a grain of salt, though: runs, plastics and skill level all change how a disc flies, so your experience may vary.
