The GD1 is a distance driver rated 11/5/-1/2. A single point of turn into a 2 fade suggests a power flight with a touch of workable drift and a firm left finish for a right-hand backhand; it is not a disc for low-power arms.

It is the D in Disgo's lettered system, where each mold is a G followed by its category letter and a number. The whole five-mold catalog was approved by the PDGA on a single day, 29 July 2024, under the name Disgo with Volen Tech in the certification record. The sample photographed for its certification is stamped GD1 Distance Driver in the brand's S-Line, with the tagline Enjoy Your Game and the same figures carried here printed on the flight plate.
