Zeppelin

The Zeppelin is a discontinued oddity in the best sense: an approach disc rated 2.5/6/-1/0, pairing putter speed with a glide rating drivers would envy. The result floats: slow, hanging flights that drift gently right and land with no fade at all, useful for touch approaches and specialty shots nothing else in a bag can throw.

Its oversized, deep-rimmed profile is part of the act, giving it that airborne, hovering quality players either fall in love with or never find a use for.

The mold was the prototype for Discraft's 2011 Ace Race (PDGA cert 11-43, approved that November), the annual event thrown with an unreleased disc, and it saw lineup time afterward before being retired.

The only run listed here is a Tour Series ESP, a later special release.
