Typhoon

The Typhoon is a vintage Discraft driver from the mid 1990s, PDGA approved in December 1994 (cert 94-10) as the follow-up to the popular Cyclone. It was a large-diameter driver, big and slow by modern standards, and players of the era remember it as slightly more overstable than Discraft's Marauder. It never caught on: the market shifted to smaller-diameter, faster drivers almost immediately, production ended long ago, and today it survives mainly as a nostalgia piece, with early first-run copies occasionally trading among vintage collectors.
