The Talon is a discontinued overstable fairway driver rated 8/3/1/3: +1 turn, low glide, and a firm finish. It was a forehand and headwind fairway for its era, thrown for placement rather than length, with a flight that never asked to be babysat.
Torque and wind moved it very little, so flicks, flex lines, and blustery placement drives all landed where the fade said they would.
Approved in September 2002 (PDGA cert 02-12), it shared early-2000s overstable-fairway duty with the Reaper and Predator before leaving the standard lineup; later Big Z, swirled ESP, Tour Series Z, and Z Sparkle Glo runs have kept copies circulating.
