Spectra

The Spectra is a discontinued distance driver rated 12/5/-2/2: high speed with enough turn to open long S-curves and a controlled finish. It offered workable distance in the mid-2000s power class, with enough turn that lower-power arms could wring easy distance out of it.

Flat releases drifted right and recovered; slower arms hyzer-flipped it for straight length. Nothing about the shape was extreme, which was its appeal.

Approved on Halloween 2005 (PDGA cert 05-18, the same certification day as the Banger GT), it ran in the lineup before being retired.

The only run listed here is Supercolor, Discraft's full-color photo-print line, a reminder that many surviving Spectras are the printed picture discs.
