Sol

The Sol is an understable midrange rated 4/5/-3/0, a light, glidey mold that turns willingly to the right (for a right-handed backhand) and holds that turn with no fade at the end. It is built for easy turnover throws and floaty, glide-forward distance, especially in lighter weights.

Its deep turn and big glide make it a forgiving turnover mid and a friendly distance aid: it flips up and floats rather than fading out, which helps developing arms and shapes long turning lines for stronger players. Thrown flat at full power it will turn and burn, so it rewards a controlled release.

The Sol began as Discraft's 2018 Ace Race disc, the annual event thrown with an unreleased mold, and it now carries Paige Pierce's PP Sol signature.
