Slipstream GT

The Slipstream GT is a discontinued disc with two claims on Discraft history at once: it was the prototype for the 2005 Ace Race, the event's third year, and a member of the groove-top family, certified on Halloween 2005 (PDGA cert 05-20, titled "Slipstream-GT (Ace Race 2005)") the very same day as the Banger GT and the Spectra.

That makes it the rare Ace Race mold that doubled as a GT experiment, carrying the thumb-track groove into the event's unreleased-prototype format. Unlike the Banger GT, it did not stick: the mold saw limited lineup life and was retired.

It carries no published flight numbers here; its PDGA record lists a 21.3-centimeter diameter and 176.8-gram maximum, and surviving copies are collector items from the event's early years.
